We're Setting Off On A Safari: Finding God's Symphony ~ (A F R I C A) ~ When Nature Calls.

Setting A Foot (A) Right with Infinite progress

Oftentimes I ask myself in the quietness while walking and experiencing all that God has intended for us to enjoy - His symphony where none can compare, His perfectly painted canvas that cannot be replicated, all creatures great and small in perfect harmony in His orchestration?

How Do You Know if Someone Loves God?  It's simple to discern for they are never threatened by others that love Him too...How many times have you heard a song that reached in and touched your soul in such as way as to feel like maybe, just maybe, someone was standing outside your heart knocking?

I find that healing though Irish music which brings me moments of quiet as with  "The Fields of Athenry" ~ The version that does this for me is featured by Glenn & Ronan - in a moment of inspiration I did a broadcast of their music for my YouTube Channel on April 1, 2022 during Lent - I found their music touched my soul, relieved a bit of stress and gave me clarity.

"Who am I, you ask?

I am a child I am a Mother

I am a Woman

I am a Friend

I am, MEA

Day 01 — The Welcoming Of   (A F R I C A)  Leisure Time or Is it?

Listen to the world come alive! Just take a minute to breath it all in. The God I know is a Good God, He is a Loving God, He wants to spend time with you. He is the one who will always choose you!

Take My Hand ~ 2022The Fields of Athenry An Irish song that speaks to a heart in such as way as to call out for your soul to hear - just feel it -

The "Fields of Athenry" The fields of Athenry is an Irish song that speaks to a heart in such a way as to call out for your soul to hear it and just feel it. The song was written by Pete St. John (aka Pete Mooney) and released in 1983. I hope you will take a moment to find the lyrics and read them with an open heart. This song embodies in full openness the helplessness others feel when they are struggling to provide for their loved ones.

"Who Are We? We are the smile you see as you pass on the street..."

Day 02 — Step In The Right Direction (M O B I L I T Y) Explore "The Fields of Athenry"

Written By The Talented Artist Pete St. John (A.K.A.  Pete Mooney)

"The Fields of Athenry" was written by Pete St. John (aka Pete Mooney) as quoted in one of his interviews in 2004. “I set the song in Athenry, a little Galway village where the potato fields lay empty – the fields of Athenry… The people were starving, and corn had been imported from America to help them. But it was Indian corn, with a kernel so hard that the mills here in Ireland couldn't grind it. "St. John told the Scottish Daily Record “So, it lay uselessly in stores at the docks in Dublin. But nobody trusted the (British) authorities – the Crown – to tell them the truth, so hundreds of starving Irish people marched on the city to get the grain. Some were arrested and shipped off to Australia in prison ships to Botany Bay. “I wrote a ballad about it," he added, "inventing Michael, Mary, and a baby – a family torn apart because the husband stole corn to feed his family.”

Day 03 — The Culture Has Come (C U L T U R E) Visiting & Learning Village are Rooted in Mankind.

What I feel When Hearing the Song "The Fields of Athenry" And Why It Was Written. This song was written about an invented family (Michael, Mary and a baby) A family torn apart because a husband stole corn to feed his starving family - the basic human rights of food, water and shelter that God gives  each and every one of us.  I found it interesting that he wrote it about a family, Michael, Mary and a baby - especially when I heard it during the season of Lent, bringing to mind St. Joseph, the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus in the Holy Family, when they had to flee - they had to flee.

So, it's also said about this song that it has become an anthem for the masses in Ireland as much as the same was as the "Corries Flower of Scotland" has now almost become the unofficial anthem for the Scots - after hearing this song I say this can be an Anthem for the World, that we as Christians, well, I call on the brotherhood of Christianity not just during Lent for every day of the year, there's need out there, my friend, but there's also plenty, what can we do to ease what our neighbor is going through?  For no one should hear a child cry in hunger and no one should look at a husband or a wife and see the fear in their eyes that those they love are going to go without - so, I charge us in brotherhood, my Christians instead of saying "Me" let's say "We".  The original publication and broadcast  was posted on our Come Walk with Mea YouTube channel.  I encourage you to listen to the broadcast - I pray it brings you comfort to your soul just as it did with mine.     You can find it among our videos titled "Instead of Saying Me, Let's Say We" Broadcast 4.1.2022 Featuring Music By:  Glenn & Ronan. Find comfort there...                                             ~Mea~

Day 03 — Trying New Things (F E E D T H E S O U L) Discovering Adventure.

Have you ever wondered about the saying "Don't put your light under a bush?" When you dim your light so others can't see it - you are dimming something that could change a moment in someone's life ~ Even if that someone is "You". Don't dim your light ~ let it shine~
