Day 01 — The Welcoming Of (BELIEVING ALL LIVES INTERTWINE) A Character Building Moment

I was in a coffee shop just the other day it was frightfully cold, the cold that slips under your skin and chills you deep in the bone.  I looked around before sitting down to write and I overheard two women talking about their upcoming trip to Paris they were eager to explore the new adventure.  Across from me lay a man, It was obvious he had come in just as the doors opened to warm up and catch a moment of peaceful sleep (yes, I could tell he was without a home) and thought to myself how much the cold must have hurt him to be in especially at night.

I had barely situated myself into my project when the two women got up and left and within a matter of moments another woman came up the stairs and told the man he needed to leave.  My fingers froze on my keyboard, and I choked back tears and all he asked for "Can I have moment?" as he sat up to gather his "few" belongings and she quickly responded "No, I need you to leave now!"  I felt the urge to stand up and before I knew what was happening I was in front of him asking "Would you like a warm cup of coffee or something to drink before you have to go out into the cold? It's freezing out there."  He looked up at me and in a moment of silence all I saw were his eyes - there was an unexpected happiness there - if but for a moment and he said "Yes, please."  I started to go downstairs and the woman stopped me and said she would give him coffee before he left.  I responded that I wanted to buy him his coffee...I was able to have a warm conversation with this man I'll call him "Lee" as he described his life and how it doesn't discern its difficulties on people of status, age or position...He thanked me and went on his way.  I looked over to a man that had quietly watched everything unfold and I apologized for taking the quiet of the space from him and all he responded was - "Don't apologize, I like what you did" 

Day 02 — Step In The Right Direction (MOVING INTO PRACTICE)Explore the inner parts of your heart.

I often wonder how things can slip from one's grasp without much notice or foresight. Realizing it was time to set off on a new adventure, donating all of our belongings and leaping into a new chapter - eager to see what God had intended for this leg of the race. We drove for two days and finally arrived at what would be our new home and community.

Change is inevitable but can breathe in new life and light... "JUMP STARTING A NOMADIC JOURNEY - LOADING INTO THE CAR WE DROVE THROUGH THE BACK ROADS OF THE UNITED STATES, EXPLORING EVERYTHING THIS WORLD HAD TO OFFER ON A WING AND A PRAYER - WE FOUND OUR SECOND CHANCE!"

Find A Time To Simply Let The Wind Blow Through Your Hair And Let The Sun Beam In - Find A Moment To Breathe And Let Go Of Everything ~ Let Time Stop (If But For A Moment) And Relax -- Give Yourself Permission To Release - And Say I Don't Have To Be In Flight Or Fight Mode Any Longer ~ I Can Simply Be. Take A Deep Breath ~ Hold It ~ And Let It Go. Allow The Freedom From Hurt, Stress, And So Much More Just Simply Slip Out The Window And Away From You...."
