ICELAND ~ Inner Complacency Embraces Losing Abundance (k)Nowledge and Discovery

Day 01 — Embracing Forward Movement  (COMPLACENCY)  Comes In The Form Of Silent Danger.

I remember seeing a documentary on an area in Africa - to this day this documentary defined who and what I am. It not only solidified my desire to see the world for what it is and not for what I wish it was, but, it blew onto the ember that was smoldering in my soul and left it is wake a roaring fire that humanity means we are all intertwined together that the roots of our foundation are meant to grow and strengthen so that when God calls upon OUR SPRING we are ready and willing to answer.

This documentary outlined the reality of how so many survive in a world where abundance is rampant yet it is not shared.  I watched heart in hand at the edge of my seat as a family man showed his home of a small floor-less room no more than 10x10 that housed himself, his wife and several children - where there was no running water, where there was no refrigeration, where they slept on rolled up mats, but this is not what dug into my soul it was that this man got up at the crack of dawn and walked for the entire day to cut down a bussel of bananas to walk the rest of the day and into the night to deliver them to market to receive $0.90 for his days labor - what is wrong with this picture??? 

And yet, when telling his story his toothless grin stretched across his face, his children ran through the dirt road and his wife hummed a tune as she cooked their dinner.  It was in the simplicity of things that this man found so much to be thankful for and yet, I, so often forget those simple words of thank you, God.

Louis Armstrong said it best put to the artistry of soul music ~ "What A Wonderful World"

Day 02 - Have You Ever Wondered "Why is God ignoring my prayers?" He stands in unconditional love guarding your soul...

Have you ever thought to yourself  "Why is God ignoring my prayers?"  when it seems that no matter how hard you pray or your intention the prayer goes unanswered?  In God's unconditional love for us He stands guard over our soul - He sees if a prayer will do good for our soul and future destination or if a prayer will do more harm than good for ourselves, others or more.  Sometimes, even though it is hard to completely understand an unanswered prayer is actually the perfectly answered prayer from God.  It is embracing His will that we find our choices will not hinder our journey but fill it with peace and gratitude.
